Rytec’s Pathwatch® and NEW Pathwatch® II systems are effective, intuitive and customizable safety communication technologies designed to increase threshold safety. Unlike conventional warning lights, the Pathwatch® systems attract attention from nearly any angle or direction of travel — exactly when and where it is most critical.
Remote Door Monitoring & Management
Using cloud-based technology, remote management of all connected high-performance doors is now easily achieved. Monitor status, receive preventive alerts and view live maps of all door locations on an efficient 24/7 basis.

The new System 4® is faster, smarter, smaller and easier to install than other high-speed door controllers. The intelligent processor and variable frequency drive generate an energy-efficient speed curve for smooth motion, soft starting and soft stopping.
Safe, secure opening and closing is crucial for both equipment and pedestrian needs. Different facility operations often require customized activation methods depending on the type of vehicular traffic moving through doorways and/or concern for foot traffic safety near the threshold. Rytec offers several activation types including manual, automatic and enhanced options. These allow for customized door activation and operation across a variety of applications.
Activation & Access Remote Control (AARC)
Featuring Bluetooth and app-based technology, parking and property access is now efficient, convenient and affordable. Customers, residents and visitors to parking facilities and other commercial properties can use iOS or Android devices for instant entry and exit access. Additional activation devices are not required, making parking, fleet and warehouse operations easily accessed and managed.

Attention-Getting Devices for Improved Safety
Safety is number one in any environment, especially those around high-speed and high-performance doors. Whether motorized equipment or nearby foot traffic, safety features are always important on Rytec doors. We provide a variety of options that can easily be wired into our System 4® Controller.
Basic devices include visual traffic light using a red/yellow/green configuration or simply red/green, strobe lights and rotating lights. When choosing these it is vital to take any other signaling devices in the area into account to ensure a clear distinction for all traffic.
Enhanced safety devices include Rytec’s original Pathwatch® and Pathwatch® II Safety Light Systems. These devices provide a visual warning of the door status. Additional devices include a visual countdown clock indicating specific time left before door closure and an audible alert system with pre-recorded messages for various door activities.
